Hi - I'm new to this forum so please forgive any naivete on my part. I just purchased a fairly clean working Rockola Ultra (model 437), brought it home, and played it for several minutes to make sure it worked. Everything worked fine - record selector buttons pressed, correct record was selected, placed on turntable, played (sound was a little bass heavy but certainly OK), returned, and basket returned to start position. The next day I played a couple of records and while the basket was turning, all of a sudden the basket stopped rotating at selection D5. The service scan switch moves easily in all three positions but does not rotate the basket. Is this likely to be just a blown fuse? I've visually checked all the fuses I can see and they all look fine (although I'm not sure where I'd find replacements - neither Home Depot nor Lowes has exact equivalents and I'm afraid of replacing them with anything even slightly different). All the rest of the moving parts seem to be doing their thing. There is no coin mech but the credit button someone added on the back racks up credits. The arms on the left side of the selector assembly rotate when I select a different selection from the topside buttons. There is no sound of anything grinding or appearing to try to move and there is no smell of any burning parts, so I don't think anything is bound up.
Any ideas? (Thanks!)
Paul
