All kidding aside--A LONG time ago, my wife wanted a certain vase. She searched every B&M store for miles, to no avail. Then, she got the idea to 'Google it". Eureka, found the exact one she had envisioned, AND, the price was only ONE CENT ! Shipping, however, was $39.99--yep, she paid $40.00 for it--still have it, but EPay has put a stop to that practice, as they charge a commission based on the price a customer pays---

I had a watch on MM-6 parts/jukes on eBay since I got serious in getting one back into my collection.
Let me tell you - no matter WHAT condition they're in, they ain't worth this much. I paid $100 for mine (+ a 4 hour drive), $300 for these is a little over middle-rage in the pricing range, from what I've seen in the last few years. $1100? It better be *gold*..

If that MM6 has been totally gone through, that is not an outrageous price.

I bought machines of that vintage in the mid-late eighties intact for $150-200 -less if parted. Often an op would throw another in to get rid of it. Washed, rebuilt, modified and improved that sound and delivered them to my dealers for $1200-$1500 each.

Some sold in less that a week to people who "just wanted one" and didn't want to try an rebuild it themselves.

You should see the prices that are paid for jukeboxes in the UK and other countries, for some reason jukeboxes have always been far cheaper in the USA.

I agree with Ron & Rob, it looks a tidy, looks complete so for the price its not to bad.

Iz you forgetting something ?? If you re thinking that "discs" is referring to CD's, remember the word "disc" was used to refer to 78, 45 and 33 rpm records, long before "CD's". Remember your favorite "disc jockey", on the radio ?? If it's the "200" you are thinking about, I agree ! Ron Rich

It was the "200" that I was referring to, although I still am not used to referring to records as "disks. Yet, I think I have seen the term "disks" used in some manuals.

The NSM 240I will hold 120 "disks" for 240 song selections, is there any that will hold more than 120 "disks" (vinyl records)?

I think he was meaning records. Since they only hold 100 of them, and are "200" selection.

Darrell - if it DID hold 200 records - 400 selections, I'd be interested! I have far more 45's than my MM-6 can hold, and it bugs the heck out of me.

For prices, ya'll NUTS I think! There's been several in my area in varying conditions selling between $200 an $400, and the $400 had a stepper and the old original bill acceptor kit in it. I paid $100 for mine. I would be extremely surprised if even a completely refurbished one went for that much. I guess if you put it in a fancy antique or game-room store, you could find that rich house-wife wanting to get something for her husband. I honestly - other than this eBay auction - have NEVER seen an MM-6 above $400. Even on Craigslist..
