Magnavox Console 1p4102 Loud Static from Right speaker

I just purchased an awesome extremely large console from an estate sale this weekend. I believe it's late 60's early 70's. Purchased if from a retired music professor who bought it new. It is a phono and reel to reel combo. Sounds awesome from the left channel, but the right is nothing but loud static? Any ideas?

Even I, as a long-time seasoned tech, cannot diagnose something like that over the internet.
The tried and true method is to locate a service tech locally, and have them go over this unit.
After 40 years anything is prone to needing repair.
Expect a hefty bill, due to the record changer and reel-to-reel also needing attention by now.

Sorry--I don't know any techs --but a word of advise--As with ANYTHING you "Plug-in"--turn it off, un-plug it and do not touch it till it is properly repaired -- otherwise, you can be adding quite a bit to your bill--- Ron Rich
