Bought first console LP player, Magnavox, date it for me?

Electrically amplified phonographs or radio/phonographs and related components (approx. 1928-1990).

Bought first console LP player, Magnavox, date it for me?

I bought a Magnavox Solid State console record player from Goodwill. It's fully functional and sounds great. Short of opening the cabinet I can't find any information on the rear (other than the warning not to open it while plugged in). It's strictly a record player, not a radio like some similar models I can find online when searching google. Just wondering the approximate date?

I have attached two photos.

Thank you!

Open it and look for a model number. Guessing late '60s to '70s.
Vinyl is disease which attacks that area of the brain desiring digital recordings. Once you catch it, you are cured.

Yep, mid-late 60's model.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

The turntable appears to be a W615 as in the Sams Photofact Set 864 Folder 8, dated February, 1967. If you remove the back, you may find a date sticker on the amp chassis as the October, 1965 pictured below. While you got your head poked in there, look at the under side of the turntable and you may find its model number. The model number for the cabinet may be on a sticker at the base of the cabinet, maybe near the AC cord. It should have model#, run# and finish (pecan, walnut, etc.) --BB
