But, I am curious about your thoughts on something that I am not happy with about its restoration...the interior wiring for power.
A basic extension cord was used for the main power. Something similar to this:
Another one is used on the inside for the accessory lighting. I do not really like the look of them at all. Plus, the cords are just lying on the bottom of the cabinet, which means they tend to pool on the ventilation grate.
I would assume that the main power cord for this was some sore of cloth covered cable. Something maybe like this:
Maybe it was more of a plain brown, and the pattern is just my wishful thinking, but it would be better than the cable used.
So, I am wondering if anyone has pictures of the interior of the cabinet that shows cable routing and the type of cables and plugs/receptacles used? Or if you just remember what the cables looked like, color, pattern, etc. I really want to make this thing as accurate as possible, not only on the outside, but the inside as well.
