Access to front of Seeburg USC mech

I'm sure this is a dumb question...

How to you get access to the front of the mech (facing the back of the magazine) to lube, clean, test, the bits-and-pieces on that side of the mech? Remove the magazine? Remove the mech from the track? Shrink yourself to a really tiny size and get down in there?

How about you open the rear access panel ? (like read the "I&O manual"). Ron Rich

I'm referring to the side that faces the records (where the detent switch, etc are.) Of course I've pulled the rear access panel off :) . I have the pins pulled out and the mech/magazine/tmu etc partially slide out of the front.

You can reach the detent switch "over the top", if you remove the program lid, it's easier---or scan the mech to the point past the center and just reach in from the rear, --or, scan the mech past selection # 179 and go from the front of the cabinet-- Ron Rich
