Rockola 1422 "O" Amp Volume/Tone Compensator

My "O" amp has a Volume Control & Tone Compensator build into a single pot package.

1 Winding is 2M, and the other is 50K

Does anyone know if there are any replacements available?
If not, Can I just replace it with 2 pots - what wattage?

"Bird" -any standard pot wattage of ¼ or ½ watt if fine as there is no actual power here.

Other than getting an original, possibly of dubious quality, you'll likely need to modify the original circuit a bit to accommodate a more readily available part.

All that the original setup does is cut down on treble as volume is lowered. If in fact the original is not salvageable, my approach would be to eliminate the 50K and it's resistor and cap. replace the 2 meg pot with one one tapped for "loudness" taps and experiment with resistors and caps on the tap(s). This was not available back then and would likely produce much better results with a little experimentation.

Yeah, I think my pot is toast.

Since it it so far gone, I will try further disassembly to see if I can find out where the open is (on both sides of the pot, so something is going on with the common swipe)

Failing that, I will take your suggestion.
