Wurlitzer 2310S Magazine Motor doesn't run

I don't recommend that type, Gunnar. The cart looks large and the stylus is elliptical. Conical/spherical is what is best here since this isn't a quality tonearm and an elliptical will bounce around in the groove.

Bought this for 1 SEK for a couple of minutes ago!
Dont know if it works, but for that price I have nothing to loose!

What needle could be a good choice for this cartridge?
Do they all handle the 4-5 grams load?

Is it any idea to invest in a good (=expensive) RIAA phono pre amp, or will just anyone be fine in this application?

The choices of a pre are wide ranging. Since I mod them to tailor the sound to the application, I prefer to either build them or use those with discrete components.

For replacing the single transistor in Seeburg mono and stereo amps, I built these into the space where the transistor was mounted:

For a simple contemporary unit, one of the PylePro boxes should do. I don't know if they are discrete or op-amp.

Got my hands on the Pickering V-15/AT2 cartridge today!
The resistance over the coils are 685 and 645 ohms.
The diff between the channels is around 6%, is that ok?

That is within the typical range for that grade of cart.

If there is a small copper strip running from one of the ground pins on the cart to the shell -remove it.

When installing a cart in a metal arm which is electrically connected to the chassis the cart shell belongs at chassis potential. Otherwise, it creates a ground loop and hum.
