I bought two Edison DD players this weekend

I also posted this at the edison board...

Two more "fixer-uppers" for me. The cabinets are in pretty good shape overall, so def no refinishing involved. I like mahogany in these....

These are two Edison Diamond Disc players I bought with in 24 hours off of Craigs List here in CT. Both were reasonable, in total I spent $145, plus gas and some drive time.

The C150 came without a grille. The seller of the C19 said he had a grille, and when I saw it, there was a C150 grille that matches the machine I bought the day before......

What are the odds...

Both need some cosmetic work and mechanical help. The c19 reproducer linkage is broken. The C150 came with a aftremarket odd ball Victrola type reproducer but no Edison reproducer, sadly.

It does sound pretty good playing normal 78's so I will keep the C150 the way it is untill I run into a reasonble DD reproducer..
