Seeburg M100C receiver power cord replacement

by steve_b10 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 3:01 pm

Hi Ron,
The short power cord on my WSR5-L6 receiver needs to be replaced (insulation cracked). I would like to use a 3 prong grounded cord. How should I connect the ground wire to the receiver, and how should the ground to the amp be connected. Do the other components also need to be grounded (mechanism, electrical selector, etc).
Thanks,
Steve.

Steve,
If I were giving advice, I would advise the use of a polarized two wire cord--check the archives, make your own decision, as there have been many discussions of this subject.
