Seeburg hf100r wallbox

The wallbox 3W1 for my Seeburg HF100R does not play the correct songs. When I press the keys it will play the wrong song and if I press the sames keys again it will play a differant song. I have cleaned all the contact points and the wallbox is in good condition. I just purchased another wallbox - same model and it works perfect - so I don't think the problem is the connections or the Juke box. Does anyone have an idea on were the problem could be?

thanks

Mike

Woody,
That type of problem is almost always caused by a loose bit of metal, or a coin sliding around somewhere in the key board. The other cause of that problem can be lack of PROPER oil on the motor bearings, causing it to operate slowly.
You don't say, but I'm assuming that it was operating well before, and has just begun the erratic operation. If that is not the case, there could be other problems involving something someone has done to the 3W1. I am also assuming that when you say that "you have cleaned all the contacts", you have hopefully not "sprayed something" on them. Ron Rich

I did check the speed of the motor as recommended in the quide - I performs fine. I have looked for any piece of metal and haven't found anything but I'll check it out again, I did unfortunately spray some cleaner on it but I
