Dual Changer 1228

by Thom » Sun May 14, 2006 4:11 pm

While trying to adjust the changer mechanism (see Thursday May 4), I noticed that the small black plastic guide piece, the one where the metal slide goes through, that is connected to the set screw right by the anti-skate adjustment is broken. I tried to epoxy it and it worked for about an hour before it broke again. Are these parts available? If so, where? I don't have a Dual to part out. I may even try to make one, but I realize that, that is a shot in the dark. I don't have a part number. Thanks.

You can probably have another 1228 for a small amount from eBay.
Also, parts from 1225, 1226, 1228, 1237, 1245, 1246, 1248, and 1249 are quite interchangeable, unless they are parts of the different arms on those units.
