A little more advice if possible please - I don`t want to blame the Engineer that came out - but - since he has been there are 3 or 4 records that now start about 3 seconds into the record ...so the arm is ever so slightly too far over ...is this easily rectified - or am I being a bit over the top ??...I just want all records to start at the beginning - but it`s not a major issue
thanks for reading ...

[color=#000080]Hi Allan,

Here's how you can adjust the tone arm.

You may need to compromise as the amount of track-in space can vary on different records.
It only needs the slightest of movements to make quite a difference to where the tone arm sets down. If you alter it too much, you might find that you're happy with the ones that were starting a few seconds in, with a couple more, the stylus misses the record completely and you could damage the stylus.
Don't touch the height adjustment unless you have to, If it's too high it'll get jammed against the gripper arm.
EDIT: Material that may be copyrighted is not permissible here--- See tone arm adjustments in your service manual.

Thanks Riley - wouldn`t allow me to see it - but I think I will take your advice and leave it as it is ..it`s only on 3 or 4 records and I don`t want to start something I know nothing about ...
cheers
