Look in the jukebox section for the list of "Used--parts--where to find" . Ron Rich

Depending on the output tubes, and if it's not a special design, I would think a replacement transformer from any current supplier is the answer.

If one was available from any old suppier i would have got one and not posted here .

Its 5 wires , 11K with center tap , other 2 wires are 3.5K . I measured the one in my working 1422 .
It looks like these amps as junk are very rare .

Checking, it's a relatively common amp - a 6J5 driving a pair of 6L6's!
Interstage transformers are available for something like this.
Certainly not rocket science.

Ken,
I do not understand the reason you are so upset--as far as I can see Matt has done nothing other than express his thoughts--exactly what this forum is for....Others may disagree with anything said here, but as long as it's done in a "civil" way, I shall not remove it--nor can you "block him". You're some kinda weirdo, or what?

I spoke about a truth concerning an amplifier, and as an experienced tech of such things, I'm not about to be insulted stating facts here.
Anybody with insight into these common push-pull amplifiers can easily locate resources for repairing them - if the issue is SO difficult, then my suggestion would be to let a professional handle the needed work.
You're making a mountain out of a molehill about swapping out a common interstage transformer, for god sakes!
Too funny.

Indeed, if your hostile attitude is the result of my comments, you've got issues to deal with first - so put down the soldering iron and instead, take your meds.

So no, I ignore your demands - because they're childish.

He has a habit of putting people down and using his ''i am smarter than you'' little comments . Every forum has one or more of these guys . I Do not have time for that .

Hayboer is going to make me a new transformer for aprox 80$ . They are nice on the phone and take the time to help out .

Thanks .
