Hi
I have a rockola 429 which i have got up and running and i have an issue with the credit unit, its not something i have had problems before in other rockola's but i am stumped on this one. It won't credit up via the coin paddles or the credit button on the credit unit itself, i can hear a slight buzz at the accumalator assembly each time i try to credit it, but the rachet doesn't move, the metal paddle on top of the rachet moves slightly but thats about it. I measured dc volts at the coin switches and where they plug into the credit unit and am getting a reading of 9.6 VDC. I can set up credits manually and it works fine, the reset pawl operates after each selection until such time as it reaches the end, after which i have to go through the same process again, i would like to get it working rather than set on free plaY (by removing the pawl and spring) as i don't want the solenoid to be energised all the time. This credit unit does not have a replaceable fuse but has some sort of breaker that resets itself and is crossed with a 100ohm 5 watt resistor which measures ok. There are a couple of other resistors on the credit unit and these measure fine, there a three 50ohm resistors the cross each of the electro magnets on the accumualtor assembly, and these measure fine, i notice on later rockolas diodes are used, looking at the credit unit and all the bits and pieces it appears uncomplicated but i can't seem to get to the route of the problem
regards
