Zenith Cobramatic phonograph stereo with satellite

Greetings!

Hey guys, I gots a question for ya.

Wife and I went to look at a vintage 60's lamp she wanted to buy. In the back of the store was a Zenith Cobramatic SFD288/SRD88 High Fidelity Radio Phonograph. The unit powers up, sounds awesome, but once the tubes heat up the sound degrades substantially. There are a couple shops in Phoenix that do Tube Radio Repair so no worrys there, but I can not find any info on the unit. I wonder, does anyone here know anything about these old systems? If not, no biggie, I love the look of it enough that if it never plays again I will still be happy and keep her forever.

Anyway, any help will be appreciated.

Thanks
Alan

Ten to one it needs new electrolytic capacitors. Those have a shelf life of 15 to 25 years,.
