Anyone have an idea on what I can use to replace the rubber strip on the platter, mine is all curled up

If you can't find a replacement, you could make your own using a sheet of rubber, but it must be the same thickness as the original otherwise it will affect the angle of the cartridge/stylus.
The simplest method would be to by a second-hand turntable from a jukebox spares supplier.

Gary Stork at his www.thevoiceofmusic.com site has replacement platter mats, in assorted styles, colors, and sizes.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.

I took a mouse pad from Big Lots and cut it to fit, works good
