AY160 Mechanism (160ST5) Loose Wire

by BigBird0000 » Fri Oct 18, 2013 11:12 pm

I almost have my bucket of parts together. On the top left of my mechanism (160ST5) is a white wire - connected to ground on one side, hanging in mid-air on the other.

Can anyone tell me where to connect the other side of this wire to?

Maybe the favorites counter solenoid? That's my guess.

From various readings, I am beginning to think this wire is to ground the mechanism cover.

Where? How?

Bird,
You are correct--should be a very small Phillips screw on the top of mech cover that the wire needs to be attached to. At one time, that wire had an attaching lug there. Ron Rich
