by higgybear » Fri Sep 28, 2012 2:25 am

i recently acquired a pioneer PL-L30 record player. but when plugging this in to anything to play, the sound is so soft that the speakers must be at full volume to hear. Is there any way to fix this?

Assuming the turntable has a Magnetic cartridge, it'll require an RIAA phono preamp when used with equipment not having a dedicated magnetic phono input.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
