Rowe Wallbox WRE Hookup for R83

I am trying to hook up a WRE wallbox to my R83 but with no luck,the WRE seems to have one wire less noted as clock on jukebox,Is it possible to hook up a WRE instead of a WRD to a R83? What does clock really mean? thanks in advance

Not sure re the wre wallbox, but you need the following interface or code converter to operate with WRA, WRC and WRD, it is a 201-15336-06.
There was also a 2-66934-05 code converter to work with a Seeburg 160 digital wallbox.
