G.E. A335G console stereo/phonograph information?

Does anyone have an idea of this console's value? I can't seem to find any information on it. It's in impeccable condition. We inherited it from the original owner.

It's a mediocre-quality GE from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Probably worth about $25.

well, 2 completely differing responses. I'm not sure how helpful that is.

I'm guess the 2nd is closer to being accurate, as I looked up one of the patents stamped on the back and it was dated 1962. I can't imagine a G.E. product from this era being terribly valuable, but I was hoping for at least a few hundred.

Actually your set dates to 1969. A patent number isn't a good indication of age. No matter the condition of sets from this time they just aren't worth much. Where I live $25.00 is what it takes to get them hauled away to the landfield. Not trying to be funny. In fact near by areas charge even more. And you have to get it to the curb! After finding their phono sets aren't worth anything elderly people trying to down size "just want to get rid" of them without paying to have them hauled off. Once in awhile I help someone and I take one to the landfield myself...tho busted into pieces.

Thanks shedradios. yes, I realize that a patent number wouldn't accurately "date" the item. there are times that an item is produced for a couple years with "patents pending", but at least this gave me a rough idea.

thanks for your comments. Hopefully I can get a little more for it since the console is a fairly pretty piece of furniture aside from being an invaluable stereo/phonograph. I'll be happy to even find someone that actually wants it, as I'd rather not haul it off.
