Yes, definitely the 60's, maybe around 1966. I have a 1966 brochure that features alot of the 1rp650's models but yours wasn't listed. I also noticed that the last digit differentiates the base/styling of the model. I was hoping to find a 1rp656 or 1rp658 on either side of your number. Some have a solid base all the way across, while the similar model will have small legs/feet. Still basically the same cabinet.
Oh, take off the back and look for the little date stickers on the receiver and amp. There may also be a date sticker on the under side of the turntable. Look for something like "10/65" (October, 1965). You can also find your model numbers if it is not stenciled on the amp, like A575-01-00. The turntable might be W620-xx-xx
When it comes time for repairs, you have to treat each section separately. Get the number off the cartridge before buying a new needle (might be a Magnavox/ElectroVoice/Astatic number), get the numbers off the receiver/amp before buying a schematic, etc. That 1rp657 only applies to the cabinet and run number. I have two identical cabinets with similar 620 series turntables (different platters) but different receivers. One is from 1966 and the other from 1968. --BB
