Seeburg 3W-1 Wall Box problems

Hi People, my problem is back with my Wall Box. It's hooked to my HF100 R, When the Tech guy gets it going it runs great while he's there. However when I go to play it a day or two later, it fails to select any record. It has a new 2050 tube, steppers have been serviced. Is it time to replace something? I'am also looking for classification cards for the title drum of a Seeburg V200. Thanks ---Preston --Syracuse NY..

When he "fixesit", what does he find-? -It's impossible for me to say without seeing/hearing it run---
If you want to make a Vid--send it to me, showing selection K-9 and K-0 being made--(cover off stepper)
Drum classification markers, are available--expensive-but nice, as I just purchased a set from one of the suppliers listed above--

Preston, here are some things to observe:

Remove stepper cover. Start select a high letter-number (k-10 is good) observe that first the letter stepper advances followed by a very brief interval when the transfer relay releases (at the top nearest the letter stepper) and that the next train of pulses advance the number stepper.

When the number stepper begins clapping it closes a set of contacts on top of the clapper. These actuate the two timing relays which in-turn cause the write-in when the train finishes.

If the transfer relay gets 'sticky" with residual magnetism, all the pulses willl fall on the letter stepper and there will be no w-i and thus no scan.

If the stepper wafer contacts are tarnished no punch signal will reach the memory unit and no scan. the same will happen if the w-i contacts on the timing relays are pitted or maladjusted.
