So I placed the spacers back, the screws were very long, still, when the disc is on the plate, the motor shaft doesn't want to spin.
I can hear a ground noize that does not seem to come from that motor. Perhaps a problem with a fuze ? Electricity should not be a problem since I saw everything working just moving it to my place.

Ok.
You've now clearly "putzed" with it enough, that some damage has been done to it, and no amount of internet "back & forth" commentary will undo this damage.
Call in an experienced servicer to troubleshoot and UNdo the damage.

This is really very simple to troubleshoot. Check for 120vac on plug and report back

Simple to troubleshoot? -
Troubleshooting requires implimenting "known" procedures, and applying the correct tactics to do the repairs needed.
But once unauthorized "modifications" or "mistakes" are introduced into the mix, it's really impossible to determine the status of the whole thing.
Then the thread goes on endlessly with a bunch of "what if's" or "maybe it's this or that", and that's just a waste of time.

Good day people,

Follow-up : The motor had been corrupted. I found a new one for 50$, it work great.

BUT : The TT does not turn as per the interaction between the idler wheel and spindle does not seem to happen properly.
The wheel is indeed inside the TT plate.

By looking at that snap shot, do you see anything wrong and any tips on what I should adjust ?
Btw, I tried everthing with the coil, no change.

Thank you !
Jon

Could it be an adjustment to do on "C" and "D" ?
See this at the bottom of the picture, this image is from the Starlet 429 manual.

The previous owner had no rubber grommets which made the TT lower. I now have new ones and they are in place.
I feel I'm getting closer. I will clean everything as soon as I get the motivation from listen to a least one song from that piece of art.

Have a great weekend all,

Is the distance between the wheel and shaft correct ?
Doe the idler wheel look good ? I saw those rubber ring for idler wheel, useful ?

I'm sure the spring is done yes.

No-there should be zero distance between the wheel and shaft--that's what the spring is for--it will NEVER work correctly till you purchase the correct spring, and attach it correctly---
Can't tell about the wheel surface from that photo--looks OK ? Is it clean--is the inside of the turntable (where it touches) clean ? Is the turntable shaft properly oiled ??
Also, just noticed the"slide" for the idler wheel looks "dirty/dry, and the washer/e-ring for the wheel is missing ?? (see your parts book) Ron Rich

Thanks for the feedbacks Ron,

I changed the spring, no change. I found the rubber pretty thin on the wheel.
I'll keep working on it and take good note of your comments.

Hard to tell from photo-but that does not look like the correct spring ?
The whole "wheel assembly" should both "pivot", and slide toward the motor armature, and it needs the washer/e-clip installed onto it !

Too much tension on the spring is just as bad as too little. The one you have in pic looks pretty thick and it is fully collapsed. It should have tension on it at all times. The turntable motor isn't powerful at all. If you don't have a source for the correct spring, let me know and I will do some measurements and post here.

I think I see what is wrong. I think you have the spring on the wrong side of the roller wheel shaft. The spring simply "wedges" the roller in between the motor shaft and turntable platter. If you need me to take the E clip off and remove roller and post a pic, let me know. I think it is pretty self explanatory.
