Removing plastic light cover on Seeburg M100C

by zuck338 » Sat Jan 16, 2016 10:53 pm

Hi,

Can anyone tell me the best way to remove the curved translucent plastic that covers the rotating light cylinder? I need to work on one of the gears but am having trouble accessing it from the back because the coin mechanism is in the way. I'd like to remove the plastic so i can access the light cylinder and gears from the front of the jukebox.

Thanks!

Well, since I "don't do cabinets", I have never had the privilege of doing this--but it is my guess that one should start removing screws--and proceed with caution, as that plastic IS brittle.--Or, one can eliminate the plastic easily with one stick of my favorite "problem solver", die- no- mite !!
