I got in a Wurly 2710 and I have the service manual but it is really hard to follow the circuit and the operation cycles.
Here are the symptoms,
The Select light is on, plugging in the juke causes the preset solenoid to pull in so I am assuming there is free play set here somehow, but the small switch behind the console is not there so not sure how it's done.
I can select a letter and number, the latch solenoid fires, the preset pulls back in, and then nothing happens. Meantime the resistors (5W and 10W get plenty hot so I have to limit on time.
The juke arrived in what seems as a stuck cycle - there is a record on the turntable, the extractor arm is fully extended, but neither the carriage motor or the turntable will run - nada.
All the fuses are good - not sure how to debug the selector as I haven't worked on one, but that fuse is okay also. Top tunes is installed. I bypassed it but still nogo.
Interesting side note - the load switch was cut off and the wires tied together back at the source, so I assume it is bad, but it's bypassed so I don't think that's it.
When the selection is made on the console, the pinbank does not trip anything - so no selection down there. Manually tripping a selection down there does nothing either.
I assume that I am staring at the solution but it is one of those days. The select switch for the motor is on - I dunno what's up here. I'm not a wurly guy but I'll get it sooner or later. Hoping someone out there can make it sooner!! Thanks
