help making Garrard 2025 plinth

by redlag » Tue Sep 16, 2008 8:28 am

Hi,
I am planning to pick Garrard 2025 turntable that was fixed in a radiogram. Hence this TT will not have a plinth.
1) Is the TT worth the effort to make a new plinth.
2) If yes then could anyone guide me how to go about it since this DIY will be my first one. Any info on plinth templates and suggestions will be be appreciated.
Regards

If you mean making the base, see my post on the Glaser-Steers GS-77.

The plinth is usually regarded as the chassis or mounting plate all of the parts are attached to, not the base.
