Greetings!

Somehow I have not noticed this forum over the years. I've been participating in several other audio and phono forums, don't know how I managed to miss this one.

I'm a retired technician who cut my teeth on record changers and other mechanical goodies from the "golden age" of hi-fi. I made my start by diving into a graveyard of Garrards at a used component store where I hung out in my college years. The owner had given up on them and I made six good ones out of eight "junkers" with an ample supply of spare parts left over! From then on I was hooked.

ANYWAY, I'll remember to stop in here every now and again. Maybe sometimes I'll remember a little nugget of service information about these wonderful old machines!
