Rockola volume control plug

by Juke-rocks » Tue Nov 26, 2013 2:58 pm

I would like to connect a remote volume control (I have this part) but I need the 6-pin, 5-wire plug that connects to the amp. It's the same part all the way from the 496 back to the 442 and probably earlier. One machine I have has the remote on a length of wire with a separate, add-on connector to replace the plug from the built-in pot, and that's what I need here. I believe the plug-only part number is 18633, and parts catalogs I have list the molded plug and wire assembly as 45373 or 52384. I have checked with some of the vendors listed here but what I'd really like to find out is if this is a hardware item that is still available anywhere. Anyone know?

Hi
there are some available at jukeboxrevival.eu and probably at the jbw.de site, but where you are located, ebay.com or the suppliers listed on the phonoland website

Clones: thanks. I'm hoping this can be found at an electronics or hardware outlet somewhere. Worst case, I might scavenge off a smoked amp, but I'd like to find a couple of these plugs.

I believe that connector was/is made by Amphenol.
