Seeburg LPC-1 - need some help

by smalltownguy2 » Sun Mar 10, 2013 4:36 pm

Hello folks, new guy here. I was referred to this site by Ken Layton. I have a friend with a Seeburg LPC-1 that is not working properly.

Pressing the selector buttons, I can hear a click like something's supposed to happen, but the mechanism doesn't move.

Cycling the power, sometimes the mechanism will move to a random location and try to pull a record.

Once, we were able to get the machine to load a record, and it played just fine.

Any idea where to begin looking on this machine?

Hello,

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry you did not give you name or fill in what country you live in on your profile.

I suggest that the fully read your friends manual so you can ask us questions relating to the jukebox in terms we can all understand.
Please refer to Ron's post in the jukebox forum under "Attion Newbies".

Regards
Alan
