I just found out that Elac had a Miracord models 16, 160, 161, and 191 in 1961-1964 that work in a way similar to the 1967 and later Collaro changers (3-size arm scan). But it has some differences:
- Umbrella spindle
- Automatic single play using a single play size control (put it in the 7" position for changer use).
- Repeat play of a single record.
- The arm does not scan if the spindle is empty.
I never saw any of these advertised in the US.

I also found some versions of the PE Rex changer that are different from the ones I have seen before:
One version has three extra controls:
- A control near the front of the turntable with four positions: M, 30, 25, and 17.
- Another control next to it on the left has a blank position and an R position.
- A control in front of the usual reject button with just 3 dots.
