Update on my NSM Festival

by nagamitsu » Wed Apr 30, 2014 1:03 am

Everything finally coming together now. So had sent the control and credit unit board to George at NSMvinyl to see if it can be fixed. Number of capacitors were bad, but worst part was two custom eproms were fried. Couldn't find replacement eproms, so ended up buying a newer CCU from him that should work with my juke.

Two stylus on order and hopefully here soon too. Now just hope that with everything hooked up, it will actually work. Will post pics/video if I have success, now a waiting game for parts to arrive!

Sounds like you've had a real battle Tim.

I have a Satellite 200 sat in my garage waiting for me to work-out why it isn't scanning properly. I don't like working on NSM's, but my early Satellite 200 is a very nice juke - if I ever get it going.
Regards
Keith

It's been a money pit, but I feel I am still under on resale value if/when I ever sell it at least. Fingers crossed that nothing catches fire when all hooked up. :D
