1st, follow the red and black VC wires to the terminal strip. There should be a "link" there--that says something like "dual" /" single". Be sure it's set (and the screws are tight ) on "single" (Jumpers the red wire to two terminals).
Then check on how the internal speakers are wired. A black colored wire should be on either terminal marked "E-1". One colored wire should be on ONE terminal marked "E-7"*. The other colored wire should be on the OTHER terminal marked "E-7"*. NO other wires should be connected to either of these terminal strips !
If at this time you still are missing one channel, swap the two colored wires. If the problem changes sides, you have internal amplifier problems, and I would suggest that you contact a "pro". (yes--I do repair them, if interested contact me at
ronnnrich@yahoo.com). If your problem does NOT switch sides, you have internal cabinet wiring, cartridge, or cross-over problems, which will require further trouble shooting.
* MAYBE marked only to "E-6" on that terminal strip--can't re call--if so, use E-6 in place of E-7. Ron Rich
