Hi Ken,
Sure---the new MCU uses one board to replace all three of the old MCU boards. Two "chips" replace about 40.
It eliminates the need for batteries, of any kind
It has an adjustable brightness control for the display.
The keyboard and the CPA switches are used for ALL program changes--really fast--no soldering needed !
There is a (settable) TRUE free play mode---
There is an available, settable, "random auto play" mode that is also time (between selections) settable--
Auto play settable to play A sides, or B sides, or both sides of records
Also settable to retain selections, or remove selections made previously, at power up.
Settable to remove or retain credits, made previously, at power up.
Motor save circuit ( kills motor power if it does not see "detent switch" movement in 9.4 minutes).
Diagnostic mode testing available.
And the "Best thing",IMHO, IT WORKS--really well !

( A fact that I'm proud of--it WAZ a lot of work in testing/design ! and to be honest--it's a lot of work to hand build them)
