V200 shuts off

by Jersey Jeff » Sat Jun 12, 2010 4:51 am

My V200 shuts off as I close and open the back door, seems to be something positional on the Tormat unit. Is this a known problem? any ideas?
Thanks.

Jeff,
Oh, you want to know how to fix it ?----Well, since this is my "support our troops day" it'll cost you a check to one of the military funds (your choice) of at least $10.00, or more if you can afford it !
Read how, only if you promise to send a check !
What's happening is the AC plug going from the TSR to the wall socket is pulling free (or perhaps has a broken internal wire). Usually, just changing sockets, and being sure the wire is not tangled and being "pulled" when you shut the door will do it. If not, take a knife and seperate the blades of the plug so it its tighter--or open the socket, and "reform" the internal contacts.
Now that it's fixed--please write that check ! Thanks, Ron Rich
