wurly 2800 jukebox problem

i wondering if anybody can help me with my first jukebox' it is a wurly 2800 and it has 2 problems' 1' the select light will not light up' but if i tap the ry1 relay it ingages 'but when i make a selection it only spins the motor and won't push up the pin to make the record carage spin if i press the pin myself it spins and picks up the record' i'm good at fixing e.m pinball machines but this is my first juke' and i love this thing and really want to get her up and running. thanks angelo

Do you have the Service Manual ? If so, spend some time reading it, so you can ask questions that everyone can follow, using the terms in the book. If not, you will need to purchase one. They are available from www.alwaysjukin.com and other "ligit" re-sellers--do not buy one from eBay, as most of them are poor copies--missing pages- Ron Rich

yeah ron' read the manual' did all the adjustments' i'm sure i will have to recheck them but for now they look on the money' but when i go to make selection' the solinoid it will not latch' if i take a pencil and tap the RY-1 relay it latches and say if i press E3 it only turns the motor looking for the pin E3' but will not pop up the pin to turn the record careage do i need to recapp the juntion box' i can't even find a capp kit for it' any help on this would be great. thanks. angelo

You need to be more specific--Which "solenoid won't latch"
