Zenith Model MH2607

by 1958zenith » Tue Nov 13, 2012 5:42 pm

Hello can anyone give me any imformation on this zenith console. I can't seem to find anything about it. Is there a zenith site that i could go too. I know this model came with zenith's own tt, which used a idler and a belt drive system made in 1962.
Thanks

I've serviced similar models, and they always require a thorough overhaul to perform well.
The changers were Zenith's best at the time, and always gummed up, needing a good going-over.
If it hasn't been serviced, get it done, because I've had to replace hard to find transformers in those units due to people using them "as is".
And the selenium rectifiers crap out too.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
