Hi Arran,
One can not tell if it is a lubrication issue, or a limit switch adjustment issue using the "old" MCU. The new MCU, that I build/sell, has a diagnostic mode, which will tell you that pretty quickly. If it is a lubrication issue, it is probably in the clutch area -- did you properly oil it, using the proper oil ?? Ron Rich

Actually Ron I'd like to purchase your repair manuals you've made. It's filthy and instead of me just figuring it out I want some sort of direction on this one. The rock ola boxes are a lot easier that this one. Can you give me directions on where to buy the manual?

P.s. Since I've cleaned all the connections the circuit board has been working flawlessly.

Hi Arran,
Just PM me, and you can purchase them--the MicroLog Trouble Shooting guide is not applicable to a SMC phono--the "Mechanism Guide" is---
Thanks, Ron Rich
