wurlitzer 3610 freeplay?

how dou you make a Wurlitzer 3610 freeplay I have manuals but don't see how to.

Well, Glorybe, a "Jukebox" ain't supposed to be on "freeplay"! That's why you won't find that info in the manual--unless you look really hard, as it is, "shown", somewhat, in the schematics.
I'll give you a hint, on how to "cheat"--purchase the proper Molex, or Alex plug/pins, make up a dummy plug by jumping pins 2, 6,7, and 8, together, then remove the BO/AC plug from the control center, and plug in your dummy--

I ain't never seen sucha thing--are you sure you are counting the pins correctly--on the socket for the BO/AC in the control enter ?

I did it on mine. You aren't understanding Ron's instructions correctly. You have the correct plug, but you need to have leads coming out of pins 2,6,7 and 8 from the side in your picture, then twist them all together and either solder them together and/or use a wire nut (like I did). Trust me, it works.

I had an extra BO/AC-to-Control Box connector cable with the red plug on the end, so I just cut a length of it off and constructed the dummy plug from it. This procedure totally bypasses the BO/AC box, so after you complete this, you can disconnect that box. You can either ruin your cable by doing this or, if you are schooled enough in creating pinned plugs, get a fresh one from Mouser Electronics and the associated pins and wires. Having the extra cable, it was easier for me to do it the way I did it. My thinking is, if you have no plan to ever convert it back to coin operation, what difference does it make if you sacrifice the cable?

I just left the pins and about an inch of the connected wires in holes 2,6,7,8 and stripped the four wires off enough to wire nut them together, then just plug the dummy plug into the control center. That took care of it. You can also solder the four wires together, if you wish.

2 and 6 I can understand but if you look at my bo.ac how does 7 and 8 contact anything ?

Not sure--but it runs in my feeble mind that 7-8 power the "select lamps" on some models, but not others--Try the 2-6 jumper and let us know--

ok I jumped the 2 and 6 and cab select record but only the bottom mechanism turns wont select record .but if I put on troubleshooting mode and hit the switch in back it works for one record at time ?
