Magnavox Needle

I have a Magnovox Astro-Sonic I tried looking at the model number very hard to see looked like P962 and SN1942642. I started to play it last night and noticed the needle is missing.....I pulled the holder that the needle was in off of it..but there isn't a number - how do I know the size needle I need?

Debbie: If you have a good digital camera, take a picture of the cartridge( the part that the needle mounts to) and post it here. (see sticky that tells you how to post a picture.) someone will probally tell you what cartridge it is and what needle is needed. good luck. Norman

I am attempting to say this "nicely", not to be insulting--but I would advise you strongly, to find someone who has some skill in this endeavor, ( a "Pro") to help you. You can cause much damage, which, in the end will cost you many more $$, then it would to find help now, if you don't know what you are doing ! Ron Rich

I am going to attempt to upload a picture of what it looks like....This belonged to my mom and dad and now it's mine.....It worked not long ago I just don't know what happened to the needle... If I could just find out the needle size and get one I think I could put it back in....
