You will need to add more info, in order for anyone to diagnose your problem--
First, start with the correct, and total model number, of the phonograph (eu-100 is not a Seeburg model number) as shown on the ID plate on the cabinet rear--outside--
Second, what speed record are you attempting to play ?
Third, what model is the Autospeed ?

hi ron
many thanks for your reply, on the rear it says model eu 100 in green then stamped in the metal 290 H5 i missed that first time as leaning round back with torch sorry
the records are 45s and the machine has not been used since feb this year and only for short time then prior to that it was not used for at least a year i have played about 20 records today and the same amount over the past three days it looks like its getting faster but still running a tad slow
i do not have an auto speed unit fitted but i do have another seeburg machine i am breaking which is a epfea1 that has one in would that work ?
many thanks for your time and trouble in replying
regards derek

OK--I assume that this is a model U-100--the "E" in front of any Seeburg model number indicates "export model".
If so, that should be a "native 45 rpm" phono--no autospeed was ever put into production for it, as far as I know.
I assume that the reason for your problems is that the mechanism is dry, or has been oiled with an improper oil, which has become "sticky".
I would dis-assemble, clean, oil, the motor, and clean/oil the whole mechanism, as described in my "Seeburg Mechanism Guide". (PM me if you would like to purchase a copy)
