i have a seeburg lpc-1 and someone pushed two of the buttons at the same time and they are now both stuck in the down position. How do i get them unstuck.

Are the buttons stuck down through the metal "posts" ? If so, you will need to replace them--and make sure the metal snap-on plates are there-- See the parts book. You will need to remove the TES if you can not pull them up--
Hint--do not remove the "cover plates" from under the keyboard. Ron Rich

sorry i did not answer sooner.

It looks like someone pushed the two selector bottons down at the same time causing both metal posts or studs to stick down in the TES. (the buttons you see on the outside are fine)
So, this might be an extreme measure, but can i use a pair of pliers to gently pull each of the metal studs up or is there a certain procedure for this?

Just to let you know i am mechanically inclined but still learning about the inner workings and lingo of this jukebox.

thanks.

jmak,
Yes---what I have done in the past when that happened, is remove the TES from the cabinet, and carefully pulled out one "post". Look carefully at the two stuck posts. Usually one will be further "out" then the other. That's the one to "pull on", "down at the "base" of the post. while working the latching bar by hand. Good luck, as I have also broken the post while attempting this--- Once you have pulled out one post, the other one should "pop out" by itself, when you pull on the latch bar solenoid. Ron Rich
