I'm integrating the jukebox and wallbox into my addition build. For the wiring, I'm using outdoor sprinkler wiring I got off of ebay, about $15 cheaper than lowes/home depot. The jukebox will be in the addition, while the wallbox will be in the dining room, kind of in the style of a 50s diner. With the relay mod I did, the wallbox speakers are in an always-on state. So, I may add an on/off switch on the cord, to bypass the shared ground.
I ended up purchasing a dollar bill acceptor and computer that works (oba acceptor had to be cleaned several times but works almost perfectly now) but isn't made to fit in the dollar bill acceptor (ba-55? or whatever) hole in the R-86. I ended up finding an OBA mount on ebay, from a grayhound skill crane game door, which also included the OBA acceptor but the belts were bad in it.
Pretty much that's where I've stopped working on the unit. When I can get some help to move the jukebox to the addition, I'll start doing some more restorations on the unit, which will include fiberglass or wood filler/bondo, sanding, and trying to color match the paint on the unit and do some paint work on it. The power a-mp or molex connection to the turntable assembly will be straight wired and heatshrunk, because no matter how much bending, cleaning, tightening I do, the connection is loose enough to cause the record to start spinning at a tortoise's pace when the bass inside the unit vibrates. The pins from the mech control unit and computer will be taken out, and I'll probably do either db15 or db25 connectors on it, as I think it would be a bad idea to straight wire it. Starting with all new wire and connections is going to be the best bet.
As far as the OBA bill acceptor, I could side mount it on the jukebox itself, or I could create an external box. I've toyed with the idea a lot. Making an external box, with the bill acceptor and a token acceptor wouldn't be that hard to do. It would keep the jukebox unmodded/original, if that really means anything for an 80s jukebox.
For the wallbox connection, I'm actually using wall plates, either a db9 or vga style plug, since all I need is seven pins/wires, less if I were to bypass the transformer and have it at the wallbox instead of inside of the jukebox.
