rockola tuntable

hi just bouht a rockola max 2 481,sorted a few probs out,but turntable not spinning and selections not showing,i'm new to all this so any help would be greatly appreciated,thanks in advance.

Got the Service Manual--if so, I suggest that you start reading it, before attempting to sort any problems, so as not to cause worse ones !
What, exactly is the model number of that phono ?
