Zenith Stereophonic z920

Hello,

I have an older Zenith Stereophonic, which I really treasure. I got it at a thrift store but it reminds me of a unit that my grandfather used to have. I am curious as to if anyone knows the year that this model came out...I know it must have been in the 1960's sometime...

If you happen to know, please let me know...

Your Z920 is a 1969 model. The Z
denotes 1969. Y was 1968, A is 1970 etc.
920 would make it a lower midline
model. 960 series were the expensive top of the heap models.

Hello,

I also have a Zenith Z920 stereo console. The cabinet is in excellent condition. The AM/FM works, but the turntable needs repair. Can anyone give me an idea of the value for this? I plan to offer for sale.

Hello,

I saw this clip showing a number of models from 1965, the add is somewhat of a pain, but then nothing is perfect.
Have a look you may see the model you have.

Just copy the above into internet explorer

Welcome, Pokemont17,

Stick around for awhile and give us a chance. We're not all snooty, crabby (depending on the day...) condescending techs trying to make mince meat out of newbies. We're all here for a common cause, helping each other and exchanging information to help preserve our treasured hobbies/instruments. We have alot of amateurs here and several seasoned techs who help keep us in line to avoid destroying our units. Oh, check out the old postings, too. Such a wealth of information there, and the reading can be quite entertaining. This board is great, and check out the other categories here. I think there's a little something for everybody. This board is great. Welcome again! --BB

Bobby, "Pokemont", and all,
Yes all are welcome here, providing you abide by the rules. I have deleted your post as the link you posted has nothing to do with any of the subjects covered here. Ron Rich
