Question concerning serial number

by consciousdear88 » Thu Jul 02, 2009 8:21 am

Recently, a friend of mine inherited a Zenith record player from a relative. It did not come with a needle however. Doing a bit of research online, we stumbled onto a few sites that carried the needles. But, they needed the serial number from the player. Upon inspecting it, we discovered that the label with the number had long since been worn off.

Would anyone happen to know of anywhere with a listing of Zenith models or at least somewhere where we might be able to try to figure out something with it? It is a larger sized console player with a radio, more than likely dated around the 70s.

Thank you!!

There should be numbers on the cartridge. Unclip or unscrew it and read the numbers. Use those to order the stylus.
