Wurlitzer Super Star Jukebox problems

Hello: I have a wurlitzer super star jukebox, also a wurlitzer cabaret which both boxes have the same insides, now neither one of these boxes will scan in the scan mode and I wondered if anyone knew about this problem, the machines do exactly the same thing when put in scan mode, the record magazine will not move, the release will release the magazine but the magazine will not move, if anyone can help me on this I would appreciate it very much.

Hi! Check one of three items. There is a solenoid switch at the rear (top) of the mech, just behind the carousel (often the covers are removed on these, if not the solenoid and switch will be visible). Check the contacts and clean them. Also, test your micro switch at the rear panel in just below the tonearm - often these prematurely fail. Lastly, and you probably did this already, but be sure power supply fuses and the mech circuit breaker are not tripped. Check by switch the mech between scan, run. Do you hear a click?
