Wurlitzer 1100 Record Selection

by revashenko » Tue Apr 26, 2016 3:01 am

I have a Wurlitzer 1100 jukebox that I recently disassembled to replace the 5" fiber gear and degrease the old gummed up oil. I have put the jukebox back together and everything is working as it should. The only issue that I am encountering is that when I make a record selection it is always off by exactly 12. If I choose record selection 1, record tray 13 swings out and plays. Any advice on what adjustment I need to make would be appreciated. I have the Wulitzer 1100 service manual and have not been able to locate the information for this adjustment. Thanks.

Roger

Hi Roger,
I don't work on them---but since it is a 24 play mechanism, it would be my GUESS, that you have assembled something 180 degrees opposite of the way it should be ?? Ron Rich

I agree Ron.
I've done the 1100's for people, and indeed something's re-installed improperly for that issue to arise.
The Internet is a marvelous thing, however it's not a good substitute for actually being there.
