Seeburg S100 won't play

I just picked up a Seeburg S100. When I plug it in and turn on the switch in the rear, I can hear a relay pulling in and the lights come on. When I make a selection by pushing the two buttons I hear a buzzing sound and after a few seconds the buttons pop back up, but nothing else happens.
Any ideas?

Hi Herb,
Yes--I have "ideas"--1. It don't work !!
Do you have the Service Manual Package for that model ? If not see listings, above, "where to find-" Also, please read "Attn Newbies", above--
If you have the books, read the "I &O" portion so you know what-how, it should work--could be something as simple as the service switch is not in the correct position !

Thanks for the reply - I have downloaded a Seeburg Digital Troubleshooting Guide for it and am going through it.

Hi Herb,
You are wasting your time--the S-100 is way, pre, the "digital", or "Microlog" models. Very little of what's there will apply to you phonograph. Ron Rich
