Need help ... Seeburg High Fidelity Select O Matic 100

Sorry , I am a Vintage Fishing Lure collector ... Not a JukeBox collector .... BUT ... I have a friend that had her husband pass away ... and he left her with this jukebox .....

Seeburg High Fidelity Select O Matic 100 ... it works , plays , and needs restores I would think .... we can't find what model it is and would like a close value on it so she can sell it .... any help would be great .... any questions .. let me know ...

Seeburg "J" 1955. 100 Selections from 50 records. Not as valuable as the "R" from that same period, but a simpler, more rugged grill means less cost for restoration.

Doug, E-bay seems to be currency for the price ranges on machines these days. Be sure to look for both completed" and "sold" listings.

FWIW: I paid $300 for a good original in March 1986. At that point Seeburgs were regarded as "rec-room machines" and didn't sell for the high prices of the 78rpm machines. As the generation that remembers 78's leaves the scene, the 45 machines went up in value, but that too seems to have peaked.

Got mostly a J or JL model cabinet, but an R model mechanism-- never a high demand cabinet model--
